Market Harborough town itself is situated roughly the centre of the mainland and located on the South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire border n the East Midland region.

It is approximately 30mins by car to both; Leicester city, Northampton and Coventry is roughly 45mins (outside peak travel times of course). 

Trains

The Midland Mainline train station provides frequent high speed (as well as slower) services to London St Pancras and North to; Leicester, Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham and Lincoln.

The train line to Northampton was removed in the past, however, this is being put to use in the form of a cycle track that is part of the national Sustrans route.
